We had a lot of fun (and challenges) building a fursuit -without using fur- as it's basically all stretch spandex. Which meant it isn’t as forgiving as fur when you put polyfill in it. A lot of the pieces required the polyfill being ‘massaged’ evenly through it so there weren’t any bumps from the stuffing. There was a lot of hand sewing involved, as the wings, feet and hands wouldn’t fit through a sewing machine with the polyfill. Curtis made the wings and the jaw moveable. The wings were a bit of an engineering feat, involving lots of PVC pipe, two small pulley systems and lots of locknuts and bolts.
