This Monk commission from Final Fantasy XXIV was worn to the Paris Final Fantasy Fan Festival! This was a very detail-intensive project! We were glad to find an online model viewer that allowed us to view each of the in-game costume pieces and zoom in and out on them. This allowed Victoria to create flat drawings in Illustrator that Curtis then transformed into created 3D models, for the costume jewelry throughout the costume. These were then 3D printed, sanded, primed, painted and stitched on throughout the costume. The leaf brooches on either side of the vest, and the elbow and shin armour were made from craft foam covered worbla which were gesso covered, sanded and painted.
